| Tools for conducting physical inventory counts |
Everest helps streamline your physical inventory counts with our Stock Count feature. Everest will compare its quantity to the details from your data collector to determine the variance. Review discrepancies before finalizing the stock count to determine if a re-count may be required.
| » |
Stock Count documents can be created for specific item and stock bins so you can easily compare physically counted item quantities to the “system quantity” stated in Everest. |
| » |
System Cost and Quantity details can be hidden from counting staff to ensure more accurate counts. Inventory values can be displayed at any time by managers who need this information. |
| » |
Physical quantity details can be entered manually, or imported from files created by data collectors in common formats such as Excel or comma delimited. |
| » |
Stock Counts can be tracked in multiple stages to match your workflow. Counters can enter the data, have it reviewed by managers and then final adjustments can be made by accounting staff. |
| » |
You have options to “Block” inventory from being used while the count is taking place or do “Snapshot” to minimize the interruption to operations. |
| » |
Adjustments documents created as a result of the Stock Count are recorded and linked to the stock count for a complete audit trail. |
| » |
Additional features are available in the Options menu such as the ability to print a variance report to view the discrepancies in the physical and system quantity in terms of units, value and percentage. |
|
|
| |
| Serial Number Tracking |
Track price, vendor and transaction history for individual units with serial number tracking. A complete history is maintained for each serial number so you can easily identify details on when it was sold and purchased.
| » |
Use manufacturers’ serial numbers to uniquely identify the items you sell. MFG Serial numbers can be entered manually or automatically when they are in sequence. |
| » |
Associate images and track other details using the Multimedia and Custom Field options of each serial number. |
| » |
Each transaction affecting a serial number is recorded with its date and document number. Drill down to view complete information on the document such as vendor and cost. |
| » |
The user generating each transaction affecting the serial number is also recorded. |

| Kits |
| Everest lets you group multiple items into a kit or bundle that allows your sales staff to quickly add a list of items to an order. Special pricing rules can be applied to kit items to encourage customers to buy multiple items at the same time. Rules for allowing upgrade/downgrade for individual kit components can also be configured. |
|
| |
| Bill of Materials |
| Everest lets you define the components required to build products in light manufacturing environments. Work orders can be created for these assembly items that will automatically move the goods from stock to “in process” to the new finished goods inventory you create. Reports on the Actual and Standard cost for each work order allow you to evaluate variances in the production process. |
| |
| Barcode Scanning Integration |
|
Assign product to sales orders by scanning product barcodes. Now you can avoid the costly mistake of shipping a customer the wrong product. Products that are scanned will be verified with unshipped items on the sales order to confirm you picked the right item and have not picked too many. |
| |
| Order Picking |
|
Pick Tickets can be printed by sales order or in batches. Warehouse staff can find products to pick with reports that tell them the specific stock bin and even define the ideal path to take through the warehouse when multiple picks must be made for a single order. |
| |
| Shipment Tracking |
|
Integration with UPS, FedEx and DHL allow you to ship products accurately and record tracking numbers as part of the invoice so that they are available for lookup by your customers as well by your own staff. Shoppers are happy to have this extra service at their fingertips. |
| |
| Put Away Report |
|
Receiving staff will know exactly where to put away items when they are received. Print reports from the Purchase Receipt to identify exact stock bin where products should be stored. Improved inventory accuracy will help your shipping staff find products more quickly, and better yet, allow you to ship more products with the same headcount. |
| |
| Bin Management |
|
Everest lets you virtually organize inventory into stock bins and areas as if you have physical aisles and shelves in a warehouse. Products can be automatically received to a pre-configured “put-away bin” so your staff will be able to easily find products as they need to be shipped to customers. |
